There has been much debate about the precise definition of eHealth[1][2]. In its broadest meaning, the term “eHealth” or “electronic health” refers to all kinds of information and communication technology used for supporting healthcare and promoting a sense of well-being[1][3]. The term ‘‘eHealth’’ has emerged as a central, unifying definition of multiple technology modalities [4]. Since 2010, the terms "Health 2.0" and "Medicine 2.0" are becoming more common[5][6].
